The ongoing project, identified by E-Tender No. ECR-CAO-C-S-ETEN-08-21-22, involves comprehensive
infrastructure development for the construction of the 3rd line between Tori-Shivpuri. The project encompasses a range of tasks aimed at enhancing railway connectivity and facilitating smoother transportation in the designated area.

 

Key Project Components:

 

 Earthwork in Cutting and Filling: Excavation and levelling activities to prepare the terrain for subsequent construction work, ensuring the alignment conforms to project specifications. Extension of Minor Bridge: Extending existing minor bridges to accommodate the requirements of the expanded railway infrastructure, enhancing structural integrity and functionality. Wharf Wall Construction: Building wharf walls to provide support and containment along designated sections, ensuring stability and safety for railway operations.
Retaining Wall Construction: Erecting retaining walls to prevent soil erosion, manage slopes, and maintain the integrity of the railway embankments, enhancing long-term infrastructure resilience. Foot Overbridge (FOB) Installation: Construction of Foot Overbridges at Balumath & Bukru stations to facilitate safe pedestrian passage over the railway tracks, ensuring passenger convenience and safety.

 

Construction of 02 Nos ROB:

 

Building two new Road Overbridges (ROBs) in lieu of existing ones to accommodate the increased traffic flow and ensure seamless transportation connectivity. Associated Work: Various complementary tasks related to the main project objectives, including but not limited to drainage, signalling, electrification, and landscaping.

 

Project Timeline:

 

The contract was awarded for a total sum of Rs. 112,82,22,555.84, signifying the financial commitment towards the successful execution of the project. Conclusion: The ongoing project represents a significant initiative aimed at enhancing railway infrastructure and connectivity in the Tori-Shivpuri region.
